Community Liaison Officer's Update
Stuart is delighted to announce that the new Dementia Cafe in Headcorn is to be launched this month. This is a project that he has been working on for some time with partner agencies. It will be held regularly on the second Tuesday of each month at the Heart of Headcorn, with the first one being Tuesday 8th July 2025. From 10.15am to 11.45am. More info here: info@ageukmaidstone.org.uk
Last month there was another community surgery and Stuart has also been busy referring elderly individuals to relevant agencies and assisting MBC community protection officers and housing association officers issue community protection warnings to those committing anti-social behaviour.
He has also been spending considerable time reviewing the CCTV after complaints of catapult and other anti-social behaviour in the village.

Headcorn's Highways Improvement Plan
As you might know, Headcorn Parish Council have spent many years negotiating with KCC for a range of highways improvements, to address such things as speeding and pedestrian crossings. These negotiations have largely been fruitless. Now that KCC has a new team we intent to re-present our needs to them in the hope that there might now be a means to implement some, which have been needed since the beginning of this process. If you think of anything that we haven’t and would like to add it to the Plan then simply email us to let us know.
