Headcorn in Bloom

The standard of entries for Headcorn's first 'Headcorn in Bloom' Competition was high and judging proved difficult! After much deliberation by our judging panel we are pleased to announce the winners as follows:

Garden Category:
1st place: Sarah Wilson
2nd place: Caroline James
3rd place: Bridget Dungey

Pot/Green Patch Category:
1st place: Jean Taylor
2nd place: Sarah & Lauren Brooks
3rd place: Thelma Hollamby

Special mention goes to Carol Rockall who won our “One to Watch” award for her beautiful garden.

We were blown away by the high standard of entries, it was clear to see the amount of time, effort and creativity which had been put into each of the gardens and pots.

Thank you to everyone that entered - we will be running this competition again next year.

PROW Resurfacing

The resurfacing of the public footpath (PROW) that connects Lenham Road to Grigg Lane is now complete.  We know that the uneven path previously proved hazardous for those who are less mobile who needed to visit the surgery, therefore we very much hope this will improve accessibility for them and make the walk easier for all.

Parking Matters

We regularly receive reports of fines being issued for Foreman's car park, even when a ticket has been purchased.  Please do check the machines, ensure information is inputted correctly and keep your ticket as proof.
Also please note that this car park is not owned or run by the Parish Council so unfortunately, we have no jurisdiction over it.
