Community Liaison Officer's Update
Headcorn’s Community Liaison Officer Stuart Ellesmere reports that he is keeping very busy with community issues. He is pleased to say that one of the reasons is that there has been an increase in reporting. As a reminder, if you wish to report anything, if it is crime related then please report to Kent Police, either online using the link below or by calling 101. If it is a matter concerning support and care for parishioners then please get in touch with Stuart. Please remember that there will be a free Scam Talk which will be on June 20th between 3-4pm at the Heart of Headcorn. In addition another Community Forum will be held in June.
Dawkes Meadow
Some work has been done to improve the drainage along Dawkes Meadow. This is now mostly clear but it looks likely that there will need to be some repair necessary. We will let you know when this work is scheduled to take place.
D-Day 80th Anniversary Event - 6th June
Please join us on 6th June from 4pm on Days Green to commemorate the anniversary of the D-Day landings. There will be bands playing, gazebos if it’s wet and a food truck too.
More details of the event will follow.
PTFA May Fair
The Parish Council are very grateful to all at the PTFA for their organisation of the event, under very challenging conditions. We are also grateful to all of you who donned your waterproofs and came out to enjoy the day, spending your money to support the cause.
Finger Post Sign
Last month our lengthsmen team installied a smart new finger post sign at the traffic lights
on Day’s Green.

The Parish Council are very pleased to welcome a new Councillor, Mike Gould. Mike has been elected to the Council alongside the re-election of the hardworking existing council team, including Chairman James Thomas and Vice Chair Linda Thorogood. Congratulations to all.
