Future Planning

To keep you updated, the Highways Improvement Plan is awaiting a meeting with MBC to go through our proposals.  The Headcorn Neighbourhood Plan has progressed as the Parish Council has made the changes requested by MBC whilst being mindful of Headcorn's specific needs and constraints.
The development site adjacent to the Traders' Car Park is now with MBC awaiting their decision.

Christmas Event

There's bad news and good news! The bad news is that due to the very soft ground at Parsonage Meadow we have been forced to shelve our plans for a festive event there.  The good news is that Santa is still visiting the village on Saturday 3rd December between 10am and 4pm.  You can book to see him with the Parish Clerk then come along to the Parish Church Christmas Fair and you'll see signs directing you to his grotto.

Moat Road Development

The Parish Council has had very productive discussions with Catesby Estates, who have agreed to embrace most adaptions that were requested.  Their proposals will be discussed once more at the next Planning Committee meeting.

Remembrance Day

We're delighted at the success of this year's Remembrance Day.  We were very fortunate to have enough volunteers to help smooth the organisation for the parade and benefitted from the loan of a PA system, thanks to a kind parishioner. We would like to thank all those involved for helping to make it the success it was.

There will be new furniture, bins and flowers added over the coming weeks.
